This art print is after an original piece of art by Nissa, rendered in artist coloured pencils. Poppies are abundant in mid spring in Bulgaria. In the centre of the open poppy is the Romani Chakra or Boler. Most of the young people Nissa serves are part of the Roma community, as are three of her children. Roma Rights are a major part of her social justice work.
